FAQ – Beard of God

You can expect your order to be fully crafted and shipped out within 2-4 business days after placing your order. After that, you will receive your package within 5-7 business days. When your order is marked as shipped, you will also receive a tracking # that you will be able to follow. Please email sales@beardofgod.com for any further questions on your shipment.

Once your order has been hand-crafted by our team, you will receive email confirmation that your order has been shipped and it is on the way. You will also receive an email confirmation of a tracking number you can follow your package with through its delivery. You can expect your order to arrive within the following week after this.

Canada Orders: CanadaPost
Depending on the order size, your products may ship oversized letter-mail or expedited mail.
Shipment times within Canada: 7-14 days (depending on location)
Please Note: Orders to NU & Northwest Territories may require additional shipping costs.

USA Orders: USPS
Your items are packaged & rushed with our couriers to the US Border in Niagara Falls, Ontario, we clear customs & drop the package directly to the USPS via First Class Mail or Priority (depending on order size). We provide you with a tracking number as soon as it leaves our facility. (please allow a couple days for the item to leave our facility & to reach the USPS in Niagara Falls, NY)
Shipment times within USA: 5-7 days (depending on location)

Again, this is not something any other Beard company would do & that's why our customers LOVE us.

Since our Website orders are generally, and almost always "Hand-Crafted & Made to Order", we can do any sort of change you would like (if its possible after speaking to Jasmin, our lab tech). All we ask is that you please
send us an email prior to placing your order so we can make sure it gets done

Some customers prefer a lighter scent, some prefer more strong, everyone is different!

Not too worry, you're in good hands.

The last thing we want is anyone to be unhappy with their pick of scent or product. If you're not happy with your purchase, we will make it right!

Yes! As long as we still have the ingredients to make it, we can 100% do this.

There is an upcharge of $5 per order of a discontinued scent. Please contact us first at sales@beardofgod.com (or through our contact form) & we will guide you on how to place the order.

Your oil is perfectly fine.

Some of our scents take differently to our oil base mixture, so scents like Vanilla Tobacco, Tobacco Havana etc have a cloudy appearance, where scents like Bay Rum, Black Coconut, Mojito Mint etc have a clear appearance.

In order to create some or our scents, there are added natural ingredients that make the consistency of the oil thicker, however that's actually good news as these ingredients also make the oil less greasy & therefore less sheen on your beard.

Good question, easy answer. Unlike many companies, when it comes to beeswax, we like to know exactly what we're getting and that being said, we source from 2 locations:

1. Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada
2. Tavares, Florida, USA

We are often asked about the color of our beeswax. Beeswax varies a great deal in color. Sometimes it is light amber. Sometimes it comes out more like butterscotch pudding. Sometimes it can be a bright yellow. This is due in part to how much the wax has been filtered and just as important the type of flowers the bees have been foraging on. It stands to reason like honey, the wax would be lighter when the bees forage on clover than when they are on something like buckwheat or fireweed.

When we receive wax from our beeswax sources it can be various colors. It has been somewhat filtered and we filter it more, sometimes blending of the waxes to make the color more consistent. We pour in small batches and no two beard balm pours will be the same. Beeswax color varies. Nature intended it to be that way.

Let's say you just went out to the local supermarket and you've sanitized your hands but you're about to touch your beard, which hasn't been disinfected yet. Our Beard Sanitizer™ is both antibacterial and antimicrobial (antiseptic).

Bottom-line, with proper use your beard will remain moisturized and will not dry out, even with the high alcohol content. Our Beard Sanitizer™ is a cleansing mist and it is not meant for liberal and constant application like a beard oil would be. We spent over a year formulating this product to nourish the beard and refresh the follicles to counteract the high alcohol content to promote a smooth, soft, and moisturized beard instead of a dry and brittle beard; just a few sprays go a long way.

The CDC recommends over 60% total alcohol content for Covid-19, our Beard Sanitizer™ has 70%. On top of the 70% alcohol content, our Beard Sanitizer™ also has antibacterial properties, such as spearmint, to fight against bacteria as well; it's a win-win for you and your beard. But just like everyone else, we cannot make such claims to guarantee the elimination of specific pathogens. We simply do not know enough about the virus to make these conclusions.

No, Beard of God is not affiliated with any religion or church. Our name was inspired by the idea that many mythical or historical figures, often regarded as gods or heroes, were depicted with magnificent beards. We chose this name to celebrate beards as a symbol of strength and character, without any religious connotations. Our brand is inclusive and welcomes everyone, regardless of religious beliefs.
